District Sirmour is on the separates Himachal Pradesh from Uttrakhand, Haryana and a little part of Uttar Pradesh. Various tourist places enhance its value the tourist places such as Churdhar, Bhurshingh Mahadev, Nahan, Renuka ji, Shillai and Haripurdhar. About 90% of the population lives in villages. District Sirmour also have a lot of places to visit one of them is Nahan, this was founded by Raja Karam Parkash in 1621 AD. Nahan is the Headquarter of this district. Nahan has three popular and lovely places,  known as   the  Villa Round,  he   Military  Round  and the   Hospital  Round, and also have beautiful garden known as Ranital.

The Churdhar mountain are one of other important places of district Sirmaur. They are one of  in the Shivalik ranges at the height of 11965 feet which is one of the highest peak of Himachal Pradesh, Churdhar, commonly known as Churichandni means “Bangle of Snow”, is blessed with some of the most spectacular and beautiful landscapes. It is believed that this is the place where Hanuman discovered the life-restoring Sanjivini booti (Life saving drug), which revived Lakshmana and give him life. A wealth of herbs and beautiful alpine flora conceal these Himalayan slopes and wildlife sanctuary, peak of this hill like a silent sentinel, a temple of lord shiva built on this range of mountain.

Renuka ji is also a famous tourist in district Sirmour. A place with natural Lake, which is largest natural lake of himachal. The place has a big significance on the Treta Yug. The place were named on the name of Lord Parshuram's mother Renuka. The shape of the Lake is just similar to the human. The place is just 40 Km away from Nahan. There is also a wildlife sanctuary at Renuka ji has animals Sambhar, Barking Deer and Hog Deer. Many pilgrims from across the state visit this place.

Giri river is major river of district Sirmour, which is a tributary of Yamuna. Yamuna only pass through this district through Paonta Sahib. The Paonta Sahib also have a good significance in Sikhism and the name also taken from the name of one of the guru of Sikhs. Suketi Fossil Park Kala Amb is only such Park in Himachal Pradesh.

There is luxury as well as cheap hotels and Dhabas at district Sirmour. Some of them are The sirmour Retreat, Grand view resort, Moon Resort near Nain-Tikkar and Krishna Bhojnalya are one of most famous Dhaba in the state.
